Shaping Success Clinician
Yoika Danielly, BA is a bilingual clinician with the Shaping Success program of PAI and is currently in her fourth year of a clinical psychology doctoral program at Fielding Graduate University with a social justice concentration. Her experience includes working with under served populations including children, adults, and families in a community-based clinic, schools and private practice. Her research has focused on mindfulness interventions with women in a forensic setting, understanding the experience of immigrants, and women’s experience with serious mental illness. Her background in Eastern philosophy (Buddhism and Hinduism) is guiding her dissertation research focusing on the well-being derived from Eastern practices moderated by selflessness and self-centeredness.
